Does the wall washer effect brightly illuminate the entire room?
The main purpose of the ACCENT Series is to create mood and accent lighting on the wall. While it brings a lot of pleasant light into the room, it is not designed as the sole, central light source for a large living room. It serves as an ideal complement to other, more diffused lamps.
How far from the wall should I install the lamp for the best effect?
We recommend installation at a distance of 0.6 to 1 meter from the wall to be illuminated. This allows for an ideally proportional and natural-looking glow.
Can I control only the brightness, or also the "color" of the sky?
Yes, our control systems (e.g., Tuya app) allow full control over both brightness (dimming) and color temperature (CCT). You can smoothly change the light's hue from warm, rising sun (2700K) to cool blue sky at noon (6500K).
Can I connect Polight.me lamps to DALI or KNX smart home systems?
Absolutely. Our "Private Sun" across the ACCENT, ZENITH, SPLASH, LINEA, FLAT, and FOCUS series is fully compatible with the DALI standard. For systems based on KNX, integration is handled using a standard DALI-KNX gateway. This setup ensures you maintain complete control over all Human-Centric Lighting features—from flicker-free dimming to dynamic Correlated Color Temperature (CCT) adjustments ranging from 2100K to 7800K, perfectly mimicking the natural circadian rhythm within your space.
